Did you know that far fewer people apply for jobs in high positions with Fortune 500 companies than apply to flip burgers? Its absolutely true. By the sheer magic of math this shows us that you are more likely to achieve things that most people think are either ‘out of their reach’ or think are too hard.

In plain English I’m say that it is harder to be ordinary than it is to be extraordinary. Think about it… how many people who work an ordinary 9 to 5 job do you know that have it peachy keen? Most of them bitch about work, money, their job, their co-workers etc. but if you dare say “get a new job” or “start your own business” they’ll laugh at you and tell you all the reasons why you are crazy. Avoid those people, I don’t care if its your mother, your brother or best friend. When people are excessively negative and always harpoon your positive suggestions its time to put imaginary cotton balls in your ears and move on.

So where do you fall? Are you leading an extraordinary life or an ordinary one? Well if you are like 95% of the world its the later unfortunately. Great thing is, you can change that!!

I haven’t had a’job’ since I finished college. The last real job I had was bartending at a friend’s bar in Reno. What I learned there was priceless. I learned not to take BS from anyone, I learned that alcohol has an incredible mark up and I learned that service employees get paid the least… even though they think they make the most. All in all I was leading an ordinary life, yes somedays I would make $300 in tips and feel on top of the world… but I got paid $7 bucks an hour! And the bar made $3000 that night in mostly profit. How was this good for me?

Since the start of January I have made exactly $4,444 bucks. It feels awesome, and now I am only $5556 from my goal for this month of making $10,000 in gross profits. Its been a year since I quit my real job of bartending and finished school. In a year I have made leaps and bounds that I never would have imagined last January and I owe it all to escaping the 9 to 5 and starting to pursue an extraordinary life.

Leave the ordinary for the masses, it is time to start pursuing your dreams and create your own freedom through self employment and entrepreneurship.

If I did it, trust me ANYONE can.
